MAC Pro Party: Paint By Numbers

Hi guys!

I was recently invited to the MAC Pro store in Beverly Hills for a fab party unveiling one of the brands new collections.  As some of you know I used to work for MAC and it is still my all time favorite brand when it comes to cosmetics!  It felt good to get out and mingle with my fellow artists.. I saw so many people that I havent seen in YEARS!

Amazing artwork done by the MAC trainers.. The model looked like a real-life Ken doll!

Me rocking my super last minute colorblock situation.. I loved how this outfit came out!

Fresh faced.. I totally need to start glamming up again #teamnewmommy

Cute bartenders

My bestie Patty went for an all black ensemble in true MAC fashion

Love this year's brush sets!

My trusty Balenciaga.. Still looks brand new after all these years!

So.. what do you guys think of the new hair???

When Patty and I were in makeup school (where we met) this lady came and spoke to our class.  We were so inspired that we both ended up working for MAC.  We love you Monique!!!

A few quick shots after the party!

Sometimes you cant go wrong with primary colors.  They work so well together.  This outfit was a mix of old and new.. My blouse was thrifted, skinnies were brand new and my shoes are at least 2 years old!  Fashion fades but style is eternal!

Thanks for reading loves!

Leopard + Denim + Cobalt

Hey Friends!  How's everyone enjoying this fall weather?

The tempatures here in Los Angeles have been up and down lately but you can definitely tell that it's fall.  The nights are colder even though we still regularly have 80 degree days.  I'm looking forward to fall.. just gotta find the perfect rust colored bag and get a pair of black boots!  I'm also on the hunt for a trench coat with the black leather sleeves.. if you see one please comment or email me!

So nothing special about this look.. just another day at work.  I love cobalt and leopard together.  It's one of my latest obsessions!  I love how the colors play off of each other..

If you follow me on Instagram you know that I recently made a drastic change with my hair!!! These pictures were taken a few days before my transition.. I'll be posting some OOTD pics with my new hair soon so stay tuned :)

Stay blessed everyone!

{Emerald Leopard}

This outfit was a no brainer.

On my New York trip last month, this shirt was on sale at H&M for $5!!! Me, being a lover of all things leopoard, immediately thought of these teal jeans I had at home and gladly threw it in the bag!  I'm ashamed to say that some of my luggage is still packed from that trip - I know, that is beyond ridiculous :-/ so I had kinda forgot about this shirt.. until the other day!  I broke it out, threw on my FAVORITE black shoes and my new favorite bag (thank you papa bear) and hit the town!

Even though some may say this outfit is too matchy matchy, I love the way it turned out.  Simple and edgy.  I was comfy all day and felt great every time I passed by a mirror!

Crocodile Embossed Celine Phantom - hands down best everyday bag EVER! I am so grateful!

After visiting NYC for the first time, I must say I wish I could go every year and do my fall shopping.  I have so many hot pieces for the fall that I cannot wait to wear!!!

PS - I recently joined the #BLMgirl movement.  I'm geeked!  They are having a mixer tonight in Marina Del Rey that I am trying to make.  I have always wanted to connect with other bloggers but rarely see any (that I follow) in Los Angeles.. I have been following Leslie (fashiondujourdaily) for a while and never realized she was in my area!

Make it a good weekend folks!  I'll see u all next week.

Thanks for following :)

Black, Chocolate & Olive

Where has Ari been?

That seems to be the million dollar question.  You all have to excuse my random hiatuses!  Between school, vacations and motherly duties I have totally neglected my blog that I love so much.  I am so sorry but thank you all for hanging in there and supporting the Good Time Girl!

This outfit is nothing special.  Now that fall is here, it's time to break out the blazers again and the darker colors.. I have to admit, I'm tired of the heat but not tired of all the brights!  I still want to rock my neons!  Oh well, I will definitely work them into my fall wardrobe.

Blouse: NY&Co | Jeans: F21+ | Shoes: Lola | Bag: Prada | Belt: NY&Co
Blazer: Thrifted

Once again thank you all for your support!
